Speed and agility drills provide intense workout for your legs and core muscles. Ladder drills can be used to increase speed in sports including basketball, football, soccer, and more. Ladder drills result in stronger legs. Strong legs create more force into the ground. Ladder drills can help you move faster, jump higher, and change direction more efficiently.
Agility is the ability for the body to quickly change direction while in motion. In addition to ladder drills, cone drills can be used to improve speed and agility. With the right training, your body, your footwork, balance, and reaction time can all be improved. This will result in improvement to your overall athletic performance.
