Scott Lawson

Scott is a 1997 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School. He attended John A. Logan Community College and the University of Georgia where he played baseball. In 2001, the University of Georgia were SEC conference champions and went on to play in the College World Series. The Detroit Tigers drafted Scott in 1998 where he played 3 years in the frontier league for the Kalamazoo Kings and Dubois County Dragons.
Scott was head baseball coach at Rose Hulman Institute of Technology from the 2010 season through the 2013 season. He posted a 99-68 record in those 4 seasons. During his time at Rose Hulman, he lead his team to 1 conference championship, 1 conference tournament championship and an NCAA Regional. Scott is currently the head Junior Varsity coach at Terre Haute North Vigo High School.
Scott holds an Associate’s Degree from John A. Logan Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in sports business from the University of Georgia. Scott currently resides in Terre Haute with his wife Kristy and their two children, Kate and Parks.

McKenzie McGregor has had a passion for softball since she was 8 years old. She played travel softball from the ages of 8 to 18. McKenzie played on travel teams such as Indiana Force, Indiana Terror and the Terre Haute Lady Rex. In high school, she was a 4 year starter at Terre Haute South playing 1st base and catching. While playing at THS, McGregor set the single season and career home run records, along with being a 3 time all-conference selection, and four time all-Wabash Valley selection. She held the highest team BA 3 of her 4 years at THS, and won the teams defense player of the year her senior year. After graduating from THS in 2014, McKenzie attended Wabash Valley College for 2 years and was the starting 1st baseman. While at WVC, the Warriors were 2 time conference champions. In 2015, WVC played in the NJCAA World Series in St. George, UT where they finished 7th in the nation. After graduating from WVC in 2016 McKenzie moved back to Terre Haute where she is currently a Senior as a Recreational Therapy major. Along with being a full-time student she is also in her 2nd year of coaching Junior Varsity softball at Terre Haute South High School.

Softball has been a focal point in Ashley’s life ever since the age of 6 when she began playing softball. At the age of 8, she was already traveling to Indianapolis to play competitive travel softball. Throughout her travel softball career, she played for teams such as Indiana Dreams, Indiana Vipers, and Indiana Terror.

Ashley is a 2013 graduate of Northview High School, and was a multi – sport athlete. She was a 4 year varsity starter for the softball team as she primarily played 2nd base or catcher. During her high school career, she was a member of 2 Conference Champion teams, as well as a 3 time All – Conference selection. Her career BA was .365 with an OBP of .419. She lead her team in steals, bunts, and scored 95 runs in her 4 seasons as a Northview Knight. After high school, she began attending Indiana State University to further her softball career, but had a career ending injury during her freshman year. She is now on her way to obtaining her degree in Sports and Recreation Management, as well as entering her 5th season as the Northview head junior varsity / assistant varsity softball coach.

Mike Rogers

Mike Rogers graduated from West Vigo High School in 2004. Mike excelled in high school to be a four year Varsity letterman, and three year all conference in baseball. He then went on to get his associate’s degree at Lincoln Trail. While attending LTC he played baseball for two years under the now current coach at ISU, Mitch Hannis. After graduation, Mike aspired to continue his baseball career, and did so at the University of Arkansas Little rock, where he graduated with his Health Science degree.
Mike moved back to Terre Haute, Indiana where he currently resides with his wife and son.

Brady Scott has over 10 years of coaching and instructing in the game of fast pitch softball.  He has coached in ASA Gold National Championships as
well as PGF Championships.  He has also worked with many current collegiate players playing at all levels of college softball. His areas of specialty are hitting and slapping as well as defense. Brady looks forward to improving the game and development of players in the Wabash Valley.

Softball has been a focal point of Mallory’s life since the age of 8 years old. Mallory believes the game of softball has helped her grow as a person, as well as to make may friends throughout her career. While growing up in Terre Haute, Mallory played for travel organization such as the Warriors, Terror, and Outkast. Once she was in high school, Mallory was a 4 year starter as a catcher or outfielder, and also received All – Conference honors twice. After high school, Mallory continued her softball career and education by attending Kentucky Wesleyan College. During her collegiate career, Mallory was a 4 year starter at 3rd base, 2017 Conference Champion, as well as a 2017 1st Team All – Conference selection.

Mallory has earned her degree in Exercise Science, and is very excited with the opportunity to help young athletes excel in their sports and fitness journeys.

Tyler Wampler

Tyler Wampler graduated from West Vigo High school in 2010. He then went on to play for Indiana State University as a four year starter. His achievements include, MVC All-tournament team 2011, Second Team All-conference 2012, First Team All-conference 2014, MVC Defensive Player of the Year 2014, and Brooks Wallace Award Finalist 2014. Tyler also played on the Terre Haute Rex in the summer of 2013. He finished fourth in the league in batting AVG. (.341). After college, he was drafted in the 17th round by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Tyler then went on to help coach for Indiana State University as an infield and hitting volunteer assistant coach from 2015 to 2016. He’s currently entering his third year as the head coach for the Terre Haute Rex.
